Increasing demand for care

At Landgoed Oud Bommenede, we believe that the demand for care will only increase in the coming years. On the one hand because of the ageing population, but also because of the Care Act, which encourages people to live independently for longer.

By realising adapted holiday homes on our estate, we want to offer a place to the growing number of people who are looking for relaxation, want to rehabilitate in peace and quiet or have any kind of care demand.

In total, Oud Bommenede will realise 17 new adapted holiday homes. This will be done in two phases. The first phase is expected to be ready in August 2025 and will include 7 adapted holiday homes. In 2027, we will realise the remaining 10 holiday homes.

We are already busy!

Update December 2024

Meanwhile, Van Gelder is busy with the infrastructure and Bouwgroep Schrijver has started the foundation of the holiday homes. With this, we can already see the contours of what it should become more and more. Now that a large part of the planting has also been planted (partly thanks to many family members, friends and colleagues), this is becoming even more visible. We are looking forward to when the houses are up early next year.

We are also busy renovating the health centre. The roof has now been completely renewed and soon we will start creating new spaces inside for the Pilates Studio and a reception area for our guests.
