  1. Application
    1. These General Terms and Conditions apply to all reservations, agreements and offers relating to the holiday accommodation rented by Landgoed Oud Bommenede.
    2. The term ‘tenant’ shall mean: the person who enters into the agreement with Landgoed Oud Bommenede regarding rental/use of the holiday accommodation. The term ‘user’ means: the renter and the persons specified by the renter who make use of the accommodation rented by the renter.
    3. Deviations from these General Conditions are only valid if agreed in writing with Landgoed Oud Bommenede.
  2. Bookings
    1. Only bookings by persons 25 years or older will be accepted by Landgoed Oud Bommenede. Bookings by persons younger than 25 years are not valid.
    2. Landgoed Oud Bommenede reserves the right to refuse non-standard bookings, including groups, without giving reasons.
    3. On acceptance of a booking, the tenant will receive a written confirmation, including invoice, within 14 days. The tenant should check this for accuracy and report any inaccuracies immediately.
    4. An agreement between the renter and Landgoed Oud Bommenede is reached as soon as the booking is confirmed in writing.
  3. Payments
    1. When booking, a deposit of 50% of the total rent and additional costs must be paid within 14 days of receiving confirmation.
    2. The remaining amount must be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival. For bookings within 4 weeks before arrival, the full amount must be paid immediately.
    3. For bookings from 4 weeks before arrival, the full amount is to be paid immediately.
    4. If a payment is not made on time, Landgoed Oud Bommenede reserves the right to dissolve the agreement and to re-rent the accommodation.
  4. Prices
    1. The renter owes the agreed rental price, as stated in the confirmation.
    2. In addition to the rental price, costs such as booking fee, tourist tax, cleaning fee and any additional costs will be charged to the renter.
    3. All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.
  5. Cancellation
    1. In case of cancellation, the following costs will be charged:
      1. 25% of the total rent for cancellation more than 3 months before arrival.
      2. 50% of the total rent for cancellation between 1 and 3 months before arrival.
      3. 75% of the total rent for cancellation between 14 days and 1 month before arrival.
      4. 100% of the total rent for cancellation less than 14 days before arrival.
    2. If the tenant has not arrived within 24 hours of the agreed arrival date without further notice, this will be considered a cancellation.
  6. Changes to the agreement
    1. Changes to the booking after the agreement has been made are only possible after written approval from Landgoed Oud Bommenede.
    2. If the booked accommodation is not available, Landgoed Oud Bommenede will offer an equivalent alternative accommodation.
    3. The renter and other users are not permitted to sublet the accommodation under any name whatsoever or for any reason whatsoever to anyone other than the persons named in the agreement, unless otherwise agreed in writing with Landgoed Oud Bommenede.
  7. Deposit
    1. The stay is subject to a deposit, the amount of which is stated in the confirmation.
    2. The deposit must be paid before arrival at the latest.
    3. After departure and inspection of the accommodation, the deposit, less any damage or cleaning costs, will be refunded within 14 days.
  8. Arrival and departure
    1. Accommodation can be occupied from 15:00 on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 on the day of departure.
    2. The accommodation must be left swept clean on departure. Additional cleaning costs will be deducted from the deposit.
  9. Force majeure
    1. In case of force majeure, such as fire, flooding or other unforeseen circumstances, Landgoed Oud Bommenede reserves the right to modify or dissolve the agreement.
  10. Regulations
    1. Each accommodation may only be inhabited by the maximum number of persons (from 3 years of age) stated on the Landgoed Oud Bommenede website for the relevant accommodation. Children up to two years old are not included in this number. If the permitted number of persons is exceeded (without permission) Landgoed Oud Bommenede can dissolve the agreement immediately.
    2. For necessary maintenance the renter will allow work to be carried out on the accommodation or other facilities during the stay without entitlement to compensation.
    3. Landgoed Oud Bommenede retains the right to inspect the rented accommodation at reasonable times.
    4. It is forbidden to use the beds without sheets and pillowcases. The renter must bring their own linen, sheets and pillowcases, unless these have been rented as a package from Landgoed Oud Bommenede.
    5. The lessee is not allowed to cause nuisance to other guests and neighbours by noise or music.
    6. The lessee undertakes to park vehicles in the designated parking spaces. Parking in gardens, fields or lawns is not permitted.
    7. Charging electric vehicles via the power supply of the holiday home is not permitted, unless a charging station is present on the grounds of the holiday home and explicit permission has been granted for its use.
    8. If the rules set out in these General Terms and Conditions are violated and/or staff instructions are not followed, Landgoed Oud Bommenede reserves the right to dissolve the agreement immediately, without restitution of the rent or any part thereof.
  11. Pets
    1. Dogs are allowed only if agreed in advance and at an additional charge. Maximum 2 dogs per accommodation, unless otherwise agreed.
    2. Dogs may not cause a nuisance to other guests.
    3. Dogs may not be left on the bed, sofa or chairs in the holiday home.
  12. Liability
    1. Landgoed Oud Bommenede is not liable for damage, loss or theft during the stay, unless there is intent or gross negligence.
    2. The lessee is jointly and severally liable for damage to the accommodation, inventory and grounds caused by the lessee or co-users.
  13. Complaints
    1. Despite the care and efforts of Landgoed Oud Bommenede, the tenant may consider that the tenant has a justified complaint regarding the holiday accommodation and/or the services of Landgoed Oud Bommenede. Complaints about the cleaning of the accommodation should be reported by the renter within 2 hours of occupying the accommodation.
    2. Complaints should be reported locally and directly to Landgoed Oud Bommenede. If a complaint is not satisfactorily resolved, it can be submitted in writing within 1 month after departure.
  14. Applicable law
    1. All agreements are exclusively governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted exclusively to the competent court in the Netherlands.
  15. Privacy
    1. Personal data are processed carefully and used exclusively for reservations and communication.


House rules and conditions Campsite

  1. Camping Oud-Bommenede opens on 15 March and closes on 31 October. No stay is possible between 31 October and 15 March as well as other activities related to camping.
  2. All guests and visitors are required to report and pay on arrival.
  3. Payment of the seasonal pitch at the start of the season, no later than 15 March of the relevant year.
  4. Rental of the caravan by guests and/or visitors is not allowed. Any children living away from home may use the caravan in consultation with the Manager, for a fee.
  5. A maximum speed of 10 km/hour applies on the site.
  6. Guests and visitors place their motor vehicles behind the shed immediately upon arrival. They do not drive onto the site.
  7. To spare the camping area as much as possible, we ask our guests and visitors to drive as little as possible on the camping area; in case of heavy rain, driving on the grass is prohibited.
  8. No mechanical music or noise is allowed on the site. Radio very soft in tent or caravan; outside prohibited.
  9. Bringing pets is allowed after consultation and with the permission of the Manager. Dogs are only allowed on a leash.
  10. Every guest and/or visitor must use the sanitary facilities on his or her part of the campsite, i.e. no use of 2 toilet buildings.
  11. After using the sanitary facilities, turn off the lights and close the doors! 
  12. The hygiene of the campsite should be observed by everyone. Without your cooperation it is impossible to keep the toilet block clean.
  13. The hot water at the washbasins is for hand washing only.
  14. Avoid clogging the sewers by not flushing away grease and the like.
  15. Rubbish bags containing household waste should be deposited in the container provided. Keep paper, bottles and G.F.T. waste separate and deposit them in the appropriate container. Think of the environment!
  16. 16. The cooperation of our guests and visitors is necessary to keep the plants as attractive as possible. Please do not damage them!
  17. At 10.30 p.m. it is quiet.
  18. The Manager accepts no liability for theft or damage to property of guests and visitors of guests, as well as accidents caused by guests or visitors.
  19. Guests are requested to vacate the pitches by 11 a.m. on departure in the morning.
  20. Entering the farm is prohibited unless authorised by the owner. Entering the farm remains at your own risk at all times.
  21. It is forbidden to enter the agricultural plots.
  22. All persons present on the premises are deemed to be aware of the regulations in force. Violation of the rules may result in expulsion.
